As Plumbing Inspector, you would perform a variety of routine and complex technical work including plumbing
inspections, plumbing plan reviews, and related work to ensure that the Illinois State Plumbing Code and other related codes and standards are met. You would also perform other technical building inspections and
reviews.
Must be comfortable utilizing the Village’s electronic permitting software.
In this position you would respond to and interact with residents, contractors, businesses, employees, and/or others within and outside the organization in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
A valid driver's license is a requirement, as the Plumbing Inspector must be able to drive to inspections in
Hoffman Estates.
A state of Illinois Plumbing license is required.

Work Schedule - No Weekends, No Holidays, No Nights!

Full-time / 40 hours per week
Monday – Friday / 8 hours per day, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. / 1 hour break for lunch

Compensation
Salary "DOQ". ( depending on qualifications )
2024 Hiring Range of $33.9358/hr ($70,587 annually) to $38.2491/hr ($79,558 annually)
